Residential Design Concept

This project demonstrates the full design process which is why I listed it first. I was given an as-built floor plan and the instruction that I could move any walls or windows except for one load bearing wall. In the interview, the client (professor) said they wanted a full ground level re-model. She wanted something that was calm and cozy, but also fun and energetic! This design accompanies her needs and also revives some of the 1950’s flares of the home. Requirements: Concept board, material board, full sheet set with a minimum of 8 elevation, and 4 renderings.

Perspective Restaurant Concept

This project demonstrates skills with AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Sheet sets, and concept boards. We were given an as-built floor plan, an overview of the client needs, and the clients wants. The client was opening a pizza restaurant and wanted a cozy and intimate atmosphere that encouraged conversation.

Office Concept

This was a quick project in which we were given an as-built floor plan, an overview of the client needs, and the clients wants. The client wanted something unique and fun that encouraged collaboration and productivity between employees. They also wanted as much natural light as possible.

MOD. FAB Model

This project demonstrates skills in relation to Sketch-up and presentation boards. The model is a recreating of an existing structure.

This model demonstrates an understanding of Revit functions and how it pertains to construction plans. Everything except for textures was pre-determined by the assignment guide.

Kitchen Concept

This project was designed around an existing floor plan using the 20/20 design program. Now the extent of the client’s wants on this project is a little hazy in my memory, but I recall that they had kids, a dog, and that they wanted lots of storage!
